At The BP Group, our people make the difference. We are 100 percent employee-owned and a Union member of Steamfitters Local 638, Operating Engineers Local 94, and Insulators Local 12. Our team is a talented, educated and safety-conscious workforce. As a member of Synergy Solutions Group, we collaborate with 42 non-competing HVAC full-service companies to share best practices and train collectively to provide the best service and most future-forward thinking.

Customer satisfaction and driving production to achieve goals are our highest priority. Our internal process was fine-tuned through our E. Robert Kent award-winning PIPES (Process Information Portal Enabling Success) system flow from the Mechanical Contractors Association of America (MCAA). As a cooperative member of National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), we maintain the highest efficiencies in the industry.

Technology

Through our partnerships with companies such as Astea Alliance Software, XOi Technologies, EquipID, and ATX Advisory, customer data is captured and analyzed at the source of the asset. The data is shared to provide guidance on proactive actions. By using augmented reality and artificial intelligence, our technician output provides optimal results.

Safety

The BP Group’s success is directly linked to employee performance and their drive for excellence in serving the client. For this reason, each employee must complete a 10-hour OSHA course of construction training and a 30-hour OSHA course in further education of construction safety and policies. Our employees attend mandatory monthly safety meetings to continue the dialogue on how to utilize safety tactics to maintain healthy customer relationships.

All contractors receive an Experience Modification Rate (EMR). OSHA analyzes and compares the safety records of similar contractors and calculates the EMR rating. The “average” company receives an EMR rating of 1.0. A score of less than 1.0 is considered a better rating and we proudly have a rating of .77
